The 5600's IGPU performs worse compared to the 8500's IGPU. In fact, the 5700g features a more capable iGPU than the 5600g, yet it still falls short against the 8500g. The main issue with the 8500g is its outdated PCIe Lane expansion plans for the future.

It’s unrealistic to invest more than that when you have an LGA 1700 with a 12600k (F) chip. A 570/580 8GB around $50 is pretty great, offering more VRAM and the chance to overclock to about 100W. Four GB models can be found for around $30. If you want something very affordable, spending roughly $180 on a 5600x plus a 580 8GB or about $130 on a 3600x with a 580 4GB works too. It doesn’t make sense to pay over $100 for a midrange model when a B3/450 has the same I/O at half the cost and Gen4 PCIe is unnecessary unless you’re targeting a 6500X or need a high-end SSD (like a gaming rig). Unless you’re strictly budget-conscious or just need basic storage, you’d likely opt for a T700 Gen5 instead.
None of these setups will work well with a 7500f and used rx580. The IGPU on an 8500G is the quickest compared to older models like the 5700G, though it remains limited.
