You're aiming for a budget-friendly setup with the Ryzen 3600 CPU and one of the newer GPUs—RX 6600, RTX 2060, or RTX 5600 XT. This configuration should handle modern games well, especially if you opt for the RTX 2060 or RTX 5600 XT, which offer solid performance at a lower price. The RTX 6600 is powerful but may be better suited for more demanding titles. Let me know if you'd like more details!

CPU value depends on cost, while GPUs offer similar performance levels. The main decision comes down to budget.

What's your location? Are you looking at discounted 5600 models? Prices for CPUs used were decently low around 3600 euros, and GPUs were affordable too—around 60-65 euros. For GPUs, I’d recommend the 6600 or the 6600XT since prices stay similar in my area. Used listings don’t vary much here. Do you plan to use an aftermarket cooler or stick with the stock one? I’d suggest a budget tower cooler if possible.

As someone who uses an R5 3600, it performs well in games like Elden Ring, Doom Eternal, and modern Skyrim versions at 1080p. When paired with an RTX 2060 Super, I consistently achieve over 60 frames per second (except for Elden Ring, which caps at 60fps). However, whether it’s suitable for modern gaming really depends on the specific titles you play. Among the three GPUs mentioned, the RX 6600 stands out—it offers the strongest performance and efficiency (132W TDP), more VRAM (8GB) than the other two, and includes basic ray tracing. My 2060 Super delivers similar results but uses more power (170W TDP).
