I've assembled several PCs and used MSI Afterburner & Riva Tuner for in-game visuals during performance tests. Until recently, everything functioned perfectly. Then, suddenly the display stopped appearing in any game. I explored all possible fixes online—tried different settings, updated drivers, and even reinstalled software—but nothing resolved the issue. Eventually, I reset my system (it was a fresh build). After that, I reinstalled MSI Afterburner & Riva Tuner, played a game like CS:GO, and everything worked fine. However, when I left the game and reopened it, the on-screen display vanished again.

It seems there might be a setting in Windows, Steam, or Riva Tuner that’s being toggled on or off unexpectedly, causing the conflict. I’m not sure where to start troubleshooting. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Hey there! Have you checked if you’ve enabled it? Your display is currently set to Alt+C. Want to know what your settings are? This will switch it on or off.

Thanks, but yes—I think it might be related to Steam. I can remove and reinstall Steam, and the OSD functions properly afterward. All my presets remain intact, and I can turn it on or off as needed. However, when I close Steam and restart it, the OSD still doesn’t appear, which is quite odd. I haven’t tested other games to see how they behave. This will be my next test.
