I bought two 16g G.Skill Trident Z RGB DDR4 modules, but one RGB stopped working. The other that worked also failed briefly before coming back after I removed and reinstalled both sticks. I’ve searched online without success and am only using MSI Mystic Light for control. It didn’t work with another program, so I uninstalled it. Any advice would be really helpful.

Remove the heat spreaders and you won’t face the bothersome RGB issues. I did this on my Vengeance Pro because the RGB kept malfunctioning (I’m a static red or just not into it) and ended up just taking them out. My new DDR5 setup doesn’t have any RGB at all, which is a relief.
