Following the motherboard upgrade, I needed an RGB splitter since my new board lacked the required headers. After installing the splitter, one fan connection didn’t flicker while another through the RGB hub caused it to do so. I’m wondering if the signal weakens with distance or connections and what I should do about it. My setup uses an ASUS Strix B550-A Gaming board, with Deepcool fans and a Deepcool RGB hub.

Check if the SATA connector is correctly placed. Do you have an unused SATA cable available that you can test?
