I was testing a game when suddenly my PC shut down unexpectedly. After checking, the motherboard lights were still lit but pressing the power button didn’t work. I unplugged and reconnected the PSU, which then briefly activated its fans before shutting off again. When I replaced the PSU, the issue disappeared, so it seems the problem lies with the motherboard. Possible causes include a loose screw causing a short circuit, or needing the additional 4-pin CPU power connector.
