The RGB light stays on even after shutting down your PC.
Hello, yesterday I installed the newest version of Adrock polycrhome rgb software. The firmware for rgb lightning was also updated. All configurations stayed the same, but the motherboard lights (Ascrock x470 Master sli, BIOS 1.90) still don’t turn off, even when the PC is powered down or in sleep mode. I checked the BIOS settings but didn’t find any adjustments. I don’t have the old polychrome version and can’t remember its release date. I haven’t connected any RGB LED strips except the built-in chipset light. The current image shows the latest version. What should I do? Should I update the BIOS? I’d like to wait for 1.0.0.4 to be released for my motherboard, which would bring many improvements, though it’s not available yet. Should I reach out to Asrock for assistance? Thank you in advance for your help!
They seem to be using outdated software. Users have noted it shuts down during reboot. On Linux, adjusting BIOS settings (possibly under advanced options) can help keep RGB active in S5 mode. Disabling it restores normal behavior. If you've already tried these steps, please let us know. Your font choice is bothersome—just stick with the standard one next time. Thanks.
