Hello all,
I’m feeling a bit anxious about the situation. During CPU testing with OCCT / CB23, my PC freezes very quickly—usually within 1 to 3 seconds. I attempted to adjust various BIOS settings, changed RAM and CPU frequencies, but nothing resolved the issue.
Additionally, I’m using the latest BIOS for my motherboard (1087), and EZ Flash indicates the BIOS is outdated. My PC setup includes:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 9950X3D
MB: ASUS TUFB850 Plus Gaming Wifi
PSU: BeQuiet Pure Power 12M 1200w
AIO: MSI Core MAG CoreLiquid A360
RAM: 2x48GB Kingston Fury, CL32, 6000MHz
SSD: Samsung 9100 Pro 2TB
GPU: Integrated GPU (atm running)
OS: Legal Windows 11 Pro
I’ve also installed the most recent drivers, but I still haven’t found a solution. On default settings it behaves strangely, which is unusual for me. Any suggestions or tips could help? I’m running out of ideas.
What is the make and model of your case? How is the AIO positioned within your chassis? Please check HWInfo for details. Will it be displayed during the stress test? Can you run memtest?
I'm able to run memtest, it's not a problem. The AIO radiator sits at the top of the case. The case features a Fractal Design Meshify XL. All fans operate at full power (maximum speed), and even the pump is running.
Is this kit listed as a qualified vendor for your motherboard? The 48GB DIMMs could cause compatibility issues. Which memory slots are you currently using? On most boards, A2 and B2 slots are suggested for better stability. Also, consider disabling XMP/EXPO in the BIOS and using the default JEDEC speed (which might be around 4,800MT/s, 5,200 or 5,400). Have you booted your system from a USB drive with MemTest86? Run a full test lasting several hours without any errors. If you encounter any issues, your RAM may not be fully stable.
If your system performs well with your required use, then don't bother looking for a problem.
Well, there seems to be an issue with the processor. I didn't anticipate such problems. I ran memtest overnight and everything was fine. It worked well in the A2 and B2 slots, as expected for every board with a dual channel setup. I'll try using a lower frequency next time.
