I understand it's available now on some phones, and most new gaming systems focus on DDR4. Will it really be ready by summer 2022?

Leaks have surfaced regarding updates from AMD and Intel. AMD asserts backing for Zen 4 in 2022, while Intel mentions Sapphire Lake in 2021. The reliability of these claims remains uncertain.

Let me check that for you. What model are you looking at? When was it first revealed? When did the announcement happen? When did you actually purchase it? There can be significant gaps between those dates, which helps estimate when 8400MHz DDR5 might arrive. Also, when you plan to use it, since upgrading seems likely around 2023.

I don’t have a build yet. I’m thinking about a $7,000 upgrade with top-tier components. Maybe I should wait for the next-gen CPUs, DDR5 8400MHz RAM, the best graphics card that beats the RTX Titan, and a motherboard that fits everything.

Sure thing. It's unusual to receive a large sum right away—most people invest based on purpose or requirements, not just the amount of money.

Why delay any further? Create a powerful machine right away and improve it within a couple of years, staying ahead of the curve? Your ideas don’t align well. Regardless, we’re expecting a lengthy wait for the DDR5 8400. Can’t hold back from seeing the results.
