Hey everyone, I connected the LG UM58p to my PC and expected it to run at 75Hz. However, the output from xrandr shows it's using 2560x1080 at 60Hz with a left-to-right y-axis inversion. My system specs include an RX 480 GPU, Mesa 18.3.0, and Ubuntu 18.04. I'm wondering if the cable or driver settings are affecting the performance. Let me know if you have any tips! Thanks, John.

Click the desktop, select display settings, navigate to advanced display settings, adjust the display adaptor properties, and set the frequency to 75 Hz.

Consider carefully when purchasing items like monitors today. It's hard to rely on what sellers say—there might be claims about maximum resolution and refresh rates, but these don't always match real performance. For example, the manual from the official site states that at that resolution, only a 60Hz vertical refresh rate is possible. This means the advertised specs might not reflect actual usage speeds. Always check the details directly from the manufacturer to avoid misunderstandings.

That would be the Windows solution, but (at least on the Gnome desktop) that's not possible. Ah, dang it. Oh well, doesn't really bother me (the monitor was a bargain), just would have liked to use that feature if I had it. Thanks!
