Hi, I’ve replaced several components on my PC, including the GPU, but it still takes a long time to shut down. I’m trying to figure out why this is happening and if there’s an issue with the hardware setup. The parts I have are: AMD Ryzen 9 7950X3D, Asus ROG Strix X670E-E, gaming models with various RAM and storage options, plus some graphics cards like the RTX 4080 OC. I suspect a problem in the BIOS configuration. Anyone has any ideas?

It seems you're asking about the Windows setup process after an upgrade. Did you keep the original installation or had to reinstall it?

It's not essential, but following any hardware upgrade usually means reinstalling Windows. If you maintain the same version, you might encounter certain problems. Consider booting with the default BIOS settings, enable the XMP profile for RAM, and give it a try.

I kept the identical Windows version. I faced some problems before starting a fresh installation.

New hardware might interfere with older Windows versions. You might need to reinstall. Use the Windows 11 Image Creation Tool from Microsoft and an empty USB drive to assist.

I put in the completely new version of Widnows and enabled XMP, but it’s not working. Could it be that the CPU in the Ryzen 9 7950X3D is having problems with your system?
