You might have damaged the display on a DP2 S2-BK RGB model. You're considering replacing the case now because the alignment didn't match the holes, and you were in the middle of it. I tried aligning it three times before this issue occurred. Updated September 3, 2021 by timmythedog
Make sure you're checking thoroughly. Unless the marks are extremely deep, copper is visible or a part is damaged, I wouldn't be concerned. Scratching the motherboard near the standoffs is something anyone might do eventually. I've done it a couple of times without any problems.
