This aligns with what I've seen from several tech sources. The only recurring problem since then has been the Gigabyte GPU I bought, which began producing loud coil whine after a few months. Luckily, I returned it to Micro Center and had it replaced with an MSI model through their replacement program. This has been ongoing for me. Recently, I experienced a new challenge: the coil whine became even more intense after a month or so. Thanks to their replacement plan, I was able to get a different MSI model, which has been working well so far.
This situation sparked a thought—something I hadn't fully considered before, especially after watching recent build streams. Usually, I avoid posting on forums for urgent matters. This isn't a major problem, but it could be a subtle clue I hadn't thought about, following the principle of Occam's Razor.

You misunderstood the PSU fan direction. It didn’t affect the GPU crashing. The issue was mainly because the PSU was overloaded and likely couldn’t match the GPU’s power needs. Many 650-850W PSUs aren’t suited for a 3090, 3080Ti or 3080, which is understandable. Most were built for 200-300W GPUs, not 400W+ ones. Some models could manage it, but not all. There were problems with certain Seasonic/EVGA units and Corsair RM 650-850 models, especially in the 3000 series. Similar issues are expected with the 4000 series.
