I have tried to find a solution to this issue but I cannot seem to find anything that works. The mouse will freeze up randomly for about a second or two. This usually happens in games, but also happens when I am in the browser occasionally. This issue ONLY happens when wireless (Bluetooth and 2.4 connections)
here are my build specs if this helps anything Processor:
AMD Ryzen 7 5800X
Motherboard:
GIGABYTE B550 AORUS PRO AC
Memory:
32 GB [16 GB x2] DDR4-3200 Corsair vengeance
Video Card:
EVGA FTW3 Ultra RTX 3070
Power Supply:
1000w - EVGA G3 Gold+
Processor Cooling:
Corsair h100i - 240 rad
Primary drive:
2 TB Samsung 970 EVO Plus - m.2 SSD
Primary Hard Drive:
500 GB Samsung 860 EVO - SATA SSD
Secondary Hard Drive:
1 TB Samsung 860 EVO - SATA SSD
I have tried
1: messing with power management in device manager
2: Uninstalling and reinstalling synapse (happens with synapse closed)
3: uninstalling all drivers for usb hubs and mouse and letting windows reinstall them
4: this issue does NOT happen when I use the mouse with my laptop, only my desktop
5: I have moved the usb receiver to EVERY USB port on my PC
6: Razer Support was extremely unhelpful
7: I have even done a clean reinstall of windows because I tried to see if I simply had a corrupt driver somewhere
I know I’ve tried more that I can’t think of now but nothing seems to work, like I said this ONLY happens on wireless mode and ONLY on my desktop. It’s driving me insane as I really do like this mouse.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer! What BIOS version are you using for your motherboard? Curious. Since the laptop is closer to the mouse, how far apart is the case/build from it? I wonder if reinstalling the wireless adapter's drivers might help. I just did a clean reinstall of Windows. Where did you get the installer from?

I own a Razer mouse too. When the Wi-Fi dongle was on the left side of the mouse, it worked well, but when the dongle was on the right, my hand blocked the signal and the mouse behaved oddly. I switched to Logitech and haven't had any problems yet.

I am using BIOS F15c
My computer is placed on a shelf to my right. I have an L desk with a shelf for my PC. It’s near the mouse.
I haven’t tried the wireless adapter drivers yet, and I’m not very experienced with them.

I might be onto something
I’ve experimented with using the pass through USB on my keyboard as well, but the outcome remains unchanged. Even closer to my mouse than with my laptop. I’ve also tried turning off WiFi and Bluetooth to rule out interference, but it didn’t help. Now I’m really stuck.
I no longer want to purchase more razer peripherals; I appreciate their designs, but the problems are really frustrating. Using my Huntman V2 Analog (their top keyboard) required disabling a driver in device management to avoid constant key repeats.
It’s too costly to replace everything just yet, but I’ll probably switch to Logitech next.

Ensure the mouse is using the latest firmware version. Fixing the issue with the razer mouse was resolved after updating the firmware.

Yes, I attempted that when I reached out to razer support. I used their tool and then manually checked via the device manager.

An update on this matter. The problem appears to have intensified. Previously, it didn’t disconnect during gaming or anywhere else, but now it does on my desktop. I’ve tried uninstalling each device in the device manager, removing Synapse 3, and unplugging all peripherals. Using CCleaner to clear the registry and removing everything from the PC worked temporarily. Then I connected a cheap mouse, restarted the computer, reinstalled Synapse, and plugged only that mouse in. It functioned normally again, but the issue still occurs when it’s in wireless mode. Only this device disconnects randomly, without any sound alert through Windows, and instead cycles through static red light before freezing. I’ve put almost all other software in sleep or disabled mode, suggesting the problem isn’t with the PC itself. Could it be a failing mouse or a faulty 2.4 adapter?

I thought I was the only one experiencing this problem! I haven’t discovered a resolution yet, but I’m open to the idea that it might be a mouse or dongle-related issue instead of a software, firmware, or drivers problem. It’s odd that it functions perfectly when connected directly… suggesting the laser might not be the cause.
It’s becoming more concerning, but if I find a fix, I’ll definitely share it here!

I’m confident it might be the dongle. The main thing that confuses me is why it works fine on my laptop but not on my desktop. By this point, I feel like I’ve lost all hope and am completely stuck. Right now I’m using it directly instead of through a cable.
