I put in a few games (Apex Legends, Valorant, and CS GO) and they worked properly. However, I found the system.conf file on my desktop yesterday. I didn’t know what it was about, so I deleted it using the delete key. The next day, while playing Valorant and Apex Legends, I saw the file again. When I tried to open it with Notepad, it showed nothing—just a blank file with no data, and it’s 0 bytes in size. What does this empty file mean? Should I be worried?

More details were provided, mentioning it was made at 9:47 yesterday. It seems likely this relates to the game.

I am experiencing a similar problem with my laptop also equipped with an NVIDEA GTX 1650 graphics card and i5-10300h 8GB ram Lenovo-Ideapad Gaming.
There is a system.conf file which repeatedly is displayed on my desktop and similar to your issue it also is created at roughly the same time as valorant is run.
