The RAM stick count does not matter.
The RAM stick count does not matter.
Hello, I'm just starting out with my first build and gathering supplies one by one. Today I got my RAM and initially thought about getting 32GB. The issue began when I switched from two 16GB modules to two 8GB ones. That's frustrating, but I'm wondering if it's better to return the smaller sticks and buy two 16GB sticks instead. Or should I just add another 8GB stick and move on? It doesn't seem crucial unless I really need more than 64GB. Thanks for your help! P.S. The RAM model I chose is a CORSAIR Vengeance RGB Pro 16GB (2 x 8GB) with 288-pin DDR4 SDRAM at 3200MHz.
