I recently enhanced the RAM in my first-generation Ryzen system. The new module I received has a rating of 3200 MHz, yet tools like Windows Task Manager and benchmarks such as Geekbench 4 show speeds near 1065 MHz. I attempted to adjust the settings via BIOS manually, but it didn’t resolve the issue. Any advice you could offer would be appreciated.

1065 represents your RAM's speed, and "DDR" in DDR4 means "Double Data Rate." Multiplying gives you roughly 2130MHz, though actual stock speeds for DDR4 are around 2133MHz. The first-gen Ryzen models have a somewhat unstable memory controller, so speeds above 2666MHz aren't typical. Setting the BIOS speed to 2666MHz should reflect the correct rate (or half of it, which is 1333).

Thank you for your feedback. I wasn't sure anything affected my memory speed.
