It appears the prices for DDR5 and DDR4 keep rising each week. I’m curious about when they’ll reach a stable level before dropping further. The RAM I purchased two weeks ago, originally around 190€, is now 399€—still a significant jump. There are cheaper alternatives available, but the increase remains substantial.

Thanks to AI sources, recent reports highlight growing demand for high-performance storage solutions. Data center leaders note that upgrades are rapidly consuming SSDs and similar drives, potentially causing shortages as consumer needs rise.

Each manufacturer's price rises over time. The most affordable option for DDR5 5600 is typically found with a specific brand.

The price depends on the cost of RAM chips and NAND flash memory. Many companies don’t produce these parts themselves; only a few make them while others sell SSDs and RAM. Limited production capacity means supply is restricted. Should you price a product at $100 for a gamer or $10,000+ for a data center?

A data center doesn't always require non-ECC RAM; many still use standard ECC memory. Most motherboards in data centers support ECC, while server boards often accommodate DDR5 or specialized ECC options for gaming needs. Popular manufacturers include Hynix, Micro, and Samsung.

They're using identical chips, but ECC versions include extra ones. The enthusiast parts are pushed to higher speeds, while regular chips run at standard settings.
