I bought the components for my new PC and assembled everything, only to discover it wouldn’t boot at all. After some troubleshooting, I noticed the motherboard’s DRAM light stayed bright while the PC was running. The manual from the manufacturer mentioned only DDR5 speeds like 5200 and 4800, but I thought my model used DDR5 6000. It’s possible the default speed is still set to base DDR5, even if I have a different chip. I’ve tested every DIMM and slot configuration I could find, but I’m still unsure what’s wrong. Any advice would be really helpful. Thanks! Model: Gigabyte B650 AORUS ELITE AX WIFI RAM – GSKILL Trident z5 RGB DDR5-6000 (16x2, 64GB total). Let me know if you need more details.

Many chipsets have trouble supporting four DDR5 sticks. If possible, bring both kits and request a 2x32 version.

You're experiencing delays during the initial boot process, which is common. I checked both the A2B2 and A1B1 kits, but still haven't found a solution. It seems you're only giving yourself about a minute before shutting down and retrying. You might want to extend the waiting time slightly next time. Your monitor's lack of signal could be a sign of hardware or connectivity issues.

It varies based on the board and BIOS version; some systems can boot in up to 10 minutes with four sticks installed. Certain BIOS updates may prevent booting altogether. Consider bringing both kits, or opt for a 2x32GB if you require 64GB of RAM. If you don’t need the full amount, choose one kit and use the other. Four DDR5 DIMMs are often problematic and may need significant effort to function properly.

Ensure Bios flashback is enabled and update to the newest version. Note that initial boot times on AM5 builds can be lengthy, sometimes taking minutes. Allow the process to complete.
