I understand the question is broad. On my screen, a Radeon 270 would handle High Setting reasonably well on a 1280 x 1024 display. Mantle can boost BF4's FPS noticeably, but whether it's better than DirectX depends on your specific needs and preferences.

At 1280x1024 resolution you could handle ultra efficiently.

Over 60 if you're at that low point of your recovery

It could perform well at 1080p; Ultra would be ideal and deliver excellent frames.

I achieve around 55 frames per second on ultra resolution at 1080p using my 7850 (DX11).

I realize I’m missing a 1080p display, so Ultra should work fine. Mantle seems capable of handling BF4 even though it’s still in beta—I think.
