Looking for a motherboard with strong overclocking potential. I'm aiming for something that balances quality and future upgrades, especially for my 2700 processor. I want options that let me move to Ryzen 4000 series without hassle, but I'm mindful of costs since I'm not in the US. Prices on Amazon might be higher, so I'll stick to what's available globally.

Skip the gigabyte boards altogether—they’ve had reliability problems with their dual bios. MSI is widely recommended by users.

Considering your priority is stable power delivery, weigh the MSI B450 Gaming Plus MAX against the B450 Pro VDH. The latter offers better power management, which aligns with your main concern.

I've noticed many videos featuring the B450 Gaming Plus Max; however, if you push a bit further, the B450 Tomahawk Max seems to be a better option.

Figuring out the VRM is actually quite straightforward on motherboards. There are several compartments on the left and top near the CPU socket—count them all. The most reliable source for motherboard details is a creator named buildzoid, who often posts informative videos.
