Hello! I'm curious about the quickest RAM options for your Ryzen 7000 series CPU. You're right, MHz alone doesn't tell the whole story—it's more about speed and timing. Your setup includes a 32GB stick with 2x16GB modules and specific timings (32-39-39-84). If you're looking for faster or more efficient RAM, consider options that match or exceed your current speeds while offering better performance. Keep in mind that memory controller speeds can drop above 5600MHz, so ensure your motherboard supports it.

6000Mhz CL30 remains optimal for AM5. At 6400Mhz you may not be operating in perfect 1:1 tuning, so it's best to choose 6000Mhz whenever possible.

Wow, really? I thought 6400 Cl32 was quicker since both 6000 Cl30 and 6400 Cl32 had a total latency of 10ns.

It's not possible to achieve those speeds on every CPU. However, if you're lucky with the chip design, reaching 6000MHz in the 3.5GHz range is a solid possibility for stability.

Review the video content. 6000Mhz CL30 consistently outperforms 6400Mhz CL32. According to AMD's official guidance, using DDR5-6000 RAM in a 1:1 configuration means both MCLK and UCLK operate at 3000 MHz.

Sure! MCLK and UCLK refer to clock frequencies in a system. MCLK stands for Master Clock, which controls the overall timing, while UCLK is the Upper Clock frequency, indicating the highest speed at which the processor can operate. They help manage how quickly data moves through the hardware.

No, 6000 cl26 wouldn't necessarily be faster. Ryzen processors are generally known for their performance, and low timings aren't typically a concern unless specific use cases demand them.

The bandwidth remains consistent, yet the delay is reduced ("more responsive" in some way). HuB conducted a similar evaluation. It performs better, though cost may still be a concern.

Yes, Ryzen works well at high bandwidth but may face challenges with low latency.
