Hello everyone,

I’m reaching out for urgent assistance. For the past four months, I’ve been experiencing significant issues with this game – it feels unresponsive and slow, which is critically impacting my ability to play competitively. I've attempted numerous solutions without success, preventing me from practicing effectively over the last few months.

Recently, a user suggested that I might be suffering from inconsistent frametimes. I’ve recorded my frame rates and timings using MSI Afterburner while playing brief Overwatch sessions, and I now have the data. However, I’m unsure how to interpret these results regarding “consistent” frametimes, so I'm asking for your guidance: could you assess whether my frametime is problematic, and what steps I can take to resolve it? Furthermore, does an unstable frametime potentially cause this sluggishness and unresponsiveness?

I would greatly appreciate any support; I’m becoming increasingly disheartened and losing confidence in a potential fix. Below are my system specifications and screenshots of my recorded data.

Specs:
Processor: Intel i7-6700k
Graphics Card: Nvidia GTX 1080
Memory: Corsair Vengeance Lpx 32 gb (3200 mHz)
Motherboard: Asus Prime z270-A
Storage: Samsung SSD 500gb

Screenshots:

Test 2 – 240hz Monitor, FPS capped at 240:

Please note that the second test utilized a 240hz monitor, despite my inability to consistently achieve 240fps; I’m uncertain about the implications of this variation on the data.

Do you typically connect both of these displays to the graphics card? Potential issues could also involve temperature or driver problems.

I only use a single display, temperatures are within acceptable ranges, and I can offer screenshot evidence. I just recently installed all necessary software updates.
