The question text in Firefox vanishes.
It appears the issue is limited to Firefox on Windows 11 Pro. A new system was set up with Windows and some software installed, and everything seems to be functioning properly.
The problem only occurs in Firefox, not in Chrome, Edge, Discord, or on the computer itself. It seems related to the browser settings or extensions.
I tried using only the built-in graphics until the super cards were released, but text still disappears and reappears intermittently. Sometimes most of the text vanishes completely. I can type without noticeable delay, which is unusual.
An adblock extension was installed, but removing it didn’t fix the issue. I reinstalled Firefox without any improvement. I tested various resolutions, refresh rates, and monitors, but the problem persists.
Yesterday I noticed the issue started before, though it wasn’t clear if it was connected to the extension. Opening Firefox took several seconds, and after restarting the PC it stopped happening again.
This doesn’t occur on my older system with Firefox. It might not be a hardware problem since it only appears in this browser. If it were hardware-related, it would likely affect other applications too.
I just checked the latest updates yesterday; this problem was present before too. Windows is current. I disabled hardware acceleration in Firefox without any effect, and turned off a few browsing settings. When compared to my previous system, it works fine with hardware acceleration enabled. It seems like the issue might be related to hardware, but it only occurs in Firefox.
I didn't find any information regarding an override for font type. I adjusted the font style to various options but didn't make any changes.
Figured out the problem. Installed a program named mouse without borders, removed it, restarted the PC and the issue disappeared. I'm going to experiment with this software to understand why it only worked on a new computer. I've installed it on an older machine and it's functioning perfectly without any issues. The problem was only present with the new computer.
