The question shows if the QuestionDisplay remains unclear or blurry following a year of inactivity on your PC.
The display quality is poor and unclear after my PC was first turned on after a year. I tested various Linux distributions, but the issue was more pronounced with Linux than Windows 10.
Details
I restarted my computer in January 2023 after a year without use. It turned on but there was no visible display. After some online research and checking, I cleaned everything and reconnected it multiple times, yet the screen remained blurry and difficult to view, which caused discomfort and headaches.
I suspected the problem was related to the IPS panel. I purchased and tested three VA monitors, but the issue persisted. Over time, my motherboard (Gigabyte AB320 HD3) also had BIOS resets each boot, despite changing the CMOS battery and adjusting settings. The RAM displayed less capacity than it should (only 2.1–2.8 GB reserved). I replaced the motherboard with an Asus Prime A320-K, but the display issue continued, now showing 8.2 GB on BIOS (still blurry).
