It's unlikely you'll face consequences for downloading illegal software, but there are risks involved. Always consider legal alternatives to protect yourself.

Well, you should probably think twice before torrenting... It all comes down to what you're sharing, your internet service provider, and your location. In the US, services like Optimum seem indifferent, but others (like Verizon) might take it more seriously. Actually, ISPs generally don't mind as long as you don’t disrupt their network. More often they forward complaints from content creators—though they can’t remember who they are. To put it simply, newer releases that aim for big views get priority, while older shows with big audiences or those that are off-air tend to get less attention.

If your internet service provider spots you during file downloads, it's possible. You haven't been detected while torrenting before. Keep an external storage device handy, particularly for videos and songs.

An external drive provides additional storage space connected to your computer, allowing you to store and access files outside of your main hard drive.

If you aren't exploring safe methods, (PeerBlock, Private Trackers, VPNs) you're likely to face warnings. Being sued is also possible.

You come from Spain, and there are no issues there at all.

Backups and useful for all my pirated movies and music. Keeps everything separate from the main PC. If anyone needs to check, they can look.

You're suggesting rely on tools like PeerBlock while hoping for a better outcome. The issue is you need Windows 7, but it's expensive in your region—120€ is a lot for someone just starting out.

Turn off the seed dispersal to avoid any issues... Downloading in Switzerland is allowed (by theory) but not everywhere else...
