PC specs include R5 5600, Inno 3d Rtx 2060 with 6gb, Msi B450m pro vdh max, 8x2 3200mhz ram, Cooler master 650w bronze power supply, 512gb m.2 ssd, 240gb sata ssd, and a 2tb 7200rpm hdd.
I experienced this problem over six months ago after replacing the PSU.
Running MSI Kombustor, Furmark, Heaven Benchmark with CPU stress for an hour didn’t cause crashes, but random issues occurred during gameplay.
During these incidents, I had to restart the PC case and boot into BIOS, sometimes the M.2 SSD wasn’t recognized.
I need to run sfc /scannow every few weeks as it helps fix issues in Windows.
I’m trying to diagnose and resolve this issue, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

How much room remains on the m.2 SSD? Benchmarks don't keep shader cache, games do, and if there isn't enough space it will stop the system.

Coolermaster 650W bronze power supply is the model in question. The advertised wattage is 650W and it has an 80+ efficiency rating. The PSU's age is not specified, but there was a problem about six months ago that resolved after a replacement. The issue seems to recur occasionally while playing games.

49.9GB on the C drive and 43.6GB on the D drive. Created two partitions on the M.2 SSD.

Is the extra partition a method for over-provisioning or a different approach? The drive appears to be quite old, and the extensive SFC scanning might be unnecessary.

Cooler Master MWE 650 Bronze V2 is 80+ bronze certified, purchased in May 2024, making it nine months old. I've faced this issue twice in 2024; you can review my past posts for details. Recently, I've played games like Hell Let Loose, BF2042, and Sea of Thieves. The game crashes randomly after restarting, sometimes running normally afterward or crashing again. My PC also blacked out during a 30-minute session in Sea of Thieves, but later worked properly for over two hours. Previously, I experienced crashes with games such as PUBG, Content Warning, Battlefield 1, and Arena Breakout: Infinite. I suspect the BIOS version is 7A38vBL, as I updated to the latest BIOS in May 2024 after buying a new R5 5600. The M.2 SSD model is XPG Gammix S5 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3x4. The previous SSD failed, so I received a replacement via RMA. Feel free to ask more questions—I'm determined to resolve this issue.

Idk felt like having a separate D drive for games.
This is an RMA unit. I had originally bought one in September 2021 after which that one died in October 2022. They sent me a new SSD in November 2022. In the meantime I was using a SATA SSD, the one previously mentioned as my boot drive and once I got this M.2 SSD, I cloned that SATA SSD info onto the M.2 SSD.
Make and model of the M.2 SSD: XPG Gammix S5 M.2 2280 PCIe Gen 3x4 512GB
Is that bad?

Yes, it indicates a malfunctioning drive.

Additionally, failing RAM may be causing the OS to malfunction.
