When launching the game, the monitor displays "DP no signal" but later functions correctly and shows the game. Is this a problem? The monitor model is Asus rogstrix xg248q. Other details: Mbo - MSI mpg z690 edge ddr4, cpu - Intel i712700k, ram - Corsair dominator platinum 32gig 3200mhz c16 ddr4, gpu - Rtx3080ti OC, psu - Corsair RM850 80plusGold, storage - Nvme samsung 980pro 2tb/970pro 2tb.

Whether it applies to all games or just one particular game depends on the context. When using full screen mode and the in-game resolution differs from the desktop resolution, the monitor may need some time to adapt to the new settings.

This occurs frequently in most games, particularly when using fullscreen mode, especially if the display settings are adjusted to 240Hz.

Consider trying a borderless fullscreen or windowed fullscreen setting. This may resolve your problem. However, apart from that, it seems like the monitor issue. It doesn't damage the monitor; instead, it takes some time for the monitor to stop the existing signal and adjust to the new one (resolution and/or refresh rate). This has been a common occurrence around 20 years ago, so seeing it now is unusual.

Yes, this prevents any signal loss. Also, not worrying about a missing signal much, I was mainly concerned about my monitor failing.
