I was taking apart my membrane keyboard when I unintentionally pressed down the rubber bit on my e key with the tool I was using to remove it. Now I have to press the key several times before it functions properly. Can I fix this issue?

The process involves reopening the keyboard and restoring the rubber bit of the 'e' key to its original state. But this could require checking adjacent keys to understand the previous condition accurately. It’s important to be very careful with the tools used during this step.
