While playing a game, I experienced a 1-second lag followed by normal performance when switching to another application and returning. I want to understand why this intermittent delay is occurring.

Is the game online? Explore multiple servers. Certain players experience frame rates that are excessively high, even with a marginal or inadequate internet connection, such as 200-300 fps in CS:GO.
