Hello everyone, I've been following the forums for a while and now I'm actually seeking assistance myself.
Hi all, thank you for taking the time to read ahead. I experienced a freezing issue a few weeks ago, but updating to a fresh Windows 10 resolved it. However, after a power outage in my area, the games began to freeze frequently. This might not be directly related to the outage, but it was definitely a problem that was fixed by the new Windows version. One notable difference between the freshly installed Windows and the previous one is its speed—starting up now takes only about 10 seconds, whereas before it was much slower.
As mentioned in the title, my PC started freezing and stuttering, especially when playing New World while using the internet browser on my second monitor. This situation is similar to what happened before the fresh installation. I've checked my power management settings, scanned and repaired game files, but nothing resolved the issue. I also removed and reinstalled the GPU drivers, checked my PC temperatures during freezes, and ran chkdsk and sfc /scannow with Windows Memory Diagnostics. All tests came back clean, indicating a possible RAM or SSD problem.
Despite trying various solutions and searching extensively online, I'm still struggling to find a solution. I really need help here.
My CPU specs are: Intel i7 4790s, 3.20 GHz, 3201 MHz, 4 cores, and 8 GB of RAM (though I know it's a bit low for the games). The operating system is installed on an SSD, and New World runs on a separate SSD. The GPU is a GTX 1050 Ti.
It has been a long time since I purchased the computer, and I'm not sure about my power supply. The PC is a pre-built model: Msi Nightblade MI-014EU.
Looks like that system ships with a 350w PSU. This is VERY likely the problem and should be replaced.

Motherboard MS-78511
Intel i7-4790S 3.2 Ghz 4 Cores
DDR3L-SDRAM 8GB @1600 Mhz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB GDDR5
350W PSU
After the recent Windows update, everything functioned properly, making it hard to pinpoint the exact problem.
But the same issue was resolved after installing the new Windows 10. It seems to be related to the PSU, though it appears to be a software concern rather than a hardware one. It might just be a coincidence, but I'm not sure. The behavior occurs each time I open my browser while playing the game.
