I own a V-guard SESTO 1000 with me, but I can't turn it off. Each time I press the off button and disconnect the cable, it keeps beeping.

Ensure everything is turned off before disconnecting. I haven't heard of V-Guard; it might be a faulty battery.

Correct product/model etc. as necessary.
Do you have the applicable User Guide/Manual?
Unplugging a UPS is very much the same as a power loss.
Are you sure that the USP battery is properly and/or fully recharged?
Beeps: any pattern of beeps - longs and shorts?
