I experienced a city blackout this week and my UPS kicked in automatically. I chose to switch off the PSU first and then the UPS, as it had been running for about ten minutes without any issues. After a short delay, I flipped the switch and turned off the UPS, but I heard a loud "POP" sound. (Note: the PC was only powered on through the PSU switch before and after the blackout.) Now I’ve sent it back for a check-up or warranty. I’m trying to figure out what might have caused this problem so I can understand what went wrong. Apologies for any English mistakes! Thank you!

What is the make and model of your UPS? Also, where are you located?
