Conventional advice suggests the PG value ought to lie between 100 and 500 milliseconds for acceptable performance. If the power supply were at the very low end of that spectrum, it would be preferable. A shorter response time indicates quicker readiness, making 100ms preferable over 500ms. The difference in significance is unclear.
Yeah, you're right. I'm like that guy. No load other than the unknown impedance of the tester itself. And no access to an oscilloscope to test while under load. Guess I'll consider this one unanswerable with the given data. Thank you.
I will say this however. Other PSUs I've tested with this same PSU tester always read PG in the 2xxMS - 3xxMS range.
