The PS5 controller takes the headset off when it's used as an audio device.
I connect my PS5 controller to my PC and it automatically sets it as the primary audio source. However, my headset vanishes from the list of available devices right away. Once I plug in the controller, it disappears completely—no return until I restart the system and reinsert the headset. Previously, the controller would switch the default audio device to it, but it never fully removed my headset before. I’ve turned off the controller as an audio input, yet it still strips the headset from the system instead of letting me hear through it. This situation is really confusing, and I’ve tried various solutions without success.
