Hello everyone! I'm facing some problems with Windows 8.1 Pro recently. When I try to open a modern app from the Start Screen, explorer.exe often freezes. I have to keep pressing the Windows key to restart or use Task Manager to refresh it. The issue isn't consistent—sometimes it works, other times I need to reboot entirely. It might be a virus or a Windows issue, but it's not easy to identify. Are you relying on a third-party start menu?
Actually, I have Decor8 from StarDock already, I’ll remove it to check the outcome.
