Hi,
I recently installed a Ryzen 5 1600 system with dual boot support for both Windows 7 and Windows 10. Everything appears normal, but after applying even a modest 200Mhz overclock and running Prime 95 to check stability, the system crashes almost immediately in Windows 7. I face no issues during stress tests with Cinebench R15 or AIDA 64. Only when using the default settings does Prime 95 pass without problems.

With the same overclock in Windows 10 and the latest Prime 95 version (100% stable), everything works fine. My motherboard is an Asrock X370 Gaming X with BIOS P3.20, and memory is set at 2933Mhz. Lowering it to 2133Mhz didn’t resolve the issue, suggesting that might not be the root cause. During overclocking, I only adjust the core voltage and CPU speed while leaving other parameters unchanged.

I would value any advice or insights from others who have similar configurations.

Yes, all drivers are installed. In Win10 I can observe that AMD Power Plan is activated, is there a Ryzen power plan available for Windows 7???

Yes, it is present. The installation requires a chipset driver.
