My cooling setup for the CPU is Dark Rock Pro TR4 CPU Cooler, but I don’t feel any heat from it either—I removed and replaced the thermal paste, yet the issue persists during gameplay and idle time. Motherboard: MSI MEG B550 UNIFY AM4 ATX. I ran a full system scan after reinstalling Windows and using the command prompt, but everything still reports as normal. I’ve checked for airflow in the case, ensuring good ventilation, yet it keeps stating “overheating.” Whenever I play a game, the temperature reaches 100°C and the PC shuts down before restarting. The cooler you have isn't compatible with AM4. It lacks the necessary mounting hardware and won't provide the required pressure. Since you purchased the TR4 model designed for Threadripper, it won't function on AM4. Choose a cooler specifically built for AM4 for proper performance.
