Hello everyone, I'm facing a strange problem lately. Whenever I try to launch games that need shader compilation, they all crash right away. I've been playing Hogwarts and COD Vanguard, but Hogwarts won't start under any conditions while Vanguard does. After rebooting my PC, it keeps asking to compile shaders and crashes immediately. I've done a fresh install of the GPU driver, updated Windows and BIOS, and haven't changed any settings inside my PC. Just installed a new monitor today, but I'm not sure if that's related. What should I do to fix this?

Check for the newest drivers for your graphics card or the latest stable release. Windows Update might apply an older version or a certified, validated one lacking certain features. Ensure there is enough free space on your C: drive... At least on my system with the AMD card, shaders are already cached and compiled there. Also, when reinstalling Windows, make sure the chipset drivers from the download chip are included.

All updates were applied and drivers came directly from the manufacturers sites. I had minimal space left on Windows Update for drivers. My C: drive contained more than 300GB of free room, but I couldn’t reinstall Windows completely. After some troubleshooting, I realized deleting certain game folders in C:\ProgramFiles helped. When I restarted the games, everything recompiled correctly and I faced no issues afterward. Still, I don’t know the exact reason it happened initially.
