I have a PS2 Fat SCPH-50001 equipped with a mod chip (mars II ma-501). I’ve observed that the time isn’t saving even after disconnecting the power source, so I swapped in a new CR2032 battery but it still fails to save. Could it be related to the mod chip or something else?

I resolved the issue. The battery holder was somewhat damaged, so I applied a hot glue gun to secure the battery in place.
