The game frequently crashes after extended play sessions (around an hour or two) without displaying any error message. Performance is generally smooth when running at high settings, utilizing a Ryzen 1600 processor and an RX480 with 8GB of VRAM on Windows 10. I’ve identified a potential issue related to the graphics drivers, observing inconsistent behavior. Installing the latest AMD drivers often results in poor performance and crashes (particularly with games like *Combat Heroes 2*, which immediately shuts down), while utilizing drivers obtained through Device Manager tends to produce smoother gameplay and avoids crashes—until *Battlefield V* begins exhibiting problems. The event viewer logs, provided below, suggest this pattern.

Notably, my hard drive (a recently installed SSD) shows no signs of issues, and my network connection is stable due to a wired setup.

It appears the problem stems from a conflict with an AMD graphics driver. There have also been indications of similar problems related to Nvidia drivers.

Try reinstalling the game. I’ve just begun running the repair process through Origin.

I experienced a single system crash, along with multiple unexpected application closures. Upcoming driver updates and game patches are anticipated.

I recently installed a new NVMe m.2 drive for a clean Windows 10 setup to avoid software conflicts, and all my games are stored on a separate NVMe m.2 drive. My PC currently has Battlefield V and The Division 2 installed, along with only the necessary drivers for my motherboard. After approximately two hours of gameplay, I experienced another crash. This system is only six months old and utilizes high-end components, so I’m unsure of the cause. The following error occurred:

bfv.exe
1.0.71.9624
5ca2316b
KERNELBASE.dll
10.0.17763.348
d620e319
887a0006
0000000000039149
3598
01d4eb7d680042e7
\Program Files (x86)\Battlefield V\bfv.exe
C:\Windows\System32\KERNELBASE.dll
af86f608-1ff6-4362-8c53-e622e2ad0c04

I’m losing patience with this game; we consistently receive updates that either disrupt functionality or lead to crashes, combined with gameplay issues.
