Hi guys, just wondering if sites like this are legit? I see a ton of keys on different website, all for under $15 including websites like Ebay. Are these keys legit or are they fake? I ask because an original windows key msrp is like what, $120 for home and more for pro. https://www.g2deal.com/windows-10-profes...4-bit.html Waiting on my final PC component but I don't really feel like spending $120 usd. If anyone knows if this is legit than thanks for the info! If not then could someone direct me to a legit key source other than the msrp $120 from windows. Thank you.

I’m actually interested in learning more about this. Recently on a Polish website I came across a Windows key for 16zł, which seems to be around 4 euros or 5 dollars. Even though I’m not looking for a new system, I’d like to know more.

I frequently purchase W10 Pro keys from eBay for £2-3 and they consistently function. I believe I've acquired around a dozen now. However, I only buy from reputable sellers, or whatever those names are today.

Previously, you could upgrade to Windows 10 for free by resetting the computer's clock/date to the time when the offer was available. Another method involved using the "Assistive Tools for disabled users" settings to enable a free upgrade option. It's unclear if these approaches still function today.

I think most sites offering keys are either pirated or counterfeit. Buying Windows 10 for $100 might seem tempting, but it’s not worth the risk. I’ll keep looking for deals on keys in the future.

Hi DVA, those keys are genuine and will get your Windows installed. They’re cheap because they’re OEM keys, bought in large quantities by companies like Dell at a reduced price. These are usually surplus keys. A big issue is that Microsoft won’t offer activation support if you switch hardware, though they’re real and should work with any Windows setup. Let me know if you need more help.

I believe they might still provide it for free with Win7, though I'm not 100% sure. I've also heard about what you're referring to. Your response was helpful, but I'm still a bit confused from the limited posts. Thanks!

Sure, you're welcome. It's usually necessary to join a forum to get started. kinguin.com is a bit more expensive, but they provide refunds if the key doesn't work. I've used them before.
