Hello! I own two Windows 8.1 machines—a custom-built desktop and an Asus X55C DS31 laptop. On the desktop, I accessed YouTube and saw a specific image. On the laptop, I noticed a different layout. Why does my laptop show a newer design? I usually think it’s an update, but it doesn’t appear on my desktop. Is there a way to refresh my desktop view? Also, could another factor be responsible for this difference? Both devices run Windows 8.1 64-bit with Google Chrome.
Yes, both the latest Chrome versions are available in the stable channel.
Stable beta builds are available, though they appear similar to the stable version. The layout you're seeing is what you prefer.
You can add it to your Desktop by opening File Explorer, navigating to Desktop, and dragging the file there. The issue is likely due to a missing shortcut or an outdated application.
you might want to fix it because you didn’t mean to, but you did click something by accident. incognito mode isn’t guaranteed to be active—check if it’s still on.
I own that YouTube channel on my desktop PC. It appears to be a fresh addition, initially targeting Chrome users. The selection of who receives the new player seems quite unpredictable—I have it myself, but neither my friends nor my family have seen it yet.
