Hi i recently bought a pc and am in the process of building it, this is my 1st ever time building a pc so apologies if the answer is obvious, i just wanted a proper answer from people who know more than me. I bought a Gigabyte B550 AORUS ELITE V2 and Corsair RM850e but when reading the manual, the configuration of the 12v plug is different to the actual cpu cable. This is the configuration of the one in the motherboard manual: And this is the configuration of the cable. This wouldnt be an issue but the cable with the larger clip at the top (the one on the left) doesnt fit into the psu, so the one with the correct configuration (the one on the right) has to be plugged in. Im not sure if this is an issue but ive not been able to find any info on this so i decided to ask here. If i plug the cable in the left of the image to the motherboard, will something break? NOTE: Sorry if this is an obvious question, i just wanted to be sure because i dont want anything damaged and ive never done this kind of thing before Also the image i took is the same cable, its not a splitter or anything, i just orientated it so i can get both ends in the same image

Upon closer examination, it looks compatible. The motherboard has a small plastic protrusion matching the width of the 12V cable—specifically the larger clip on the left side of the image you provided. It appears to fit properly.
