My brother received a new PSU and GPU for Christmas. I just installed both and checked if they would power up or send a signal. When I turned the PC on, the PSU made a pop sound, which didn’t smell anything—good news. Can someone assist me? The PSU model is Corsair Rm750x.

I think a capacitor might fail. Consider requesting a refund.
