The port forwarding feature isn't functioning on the Archer C60 router.
Hello, I'm facing problems with forwarding a port for my Minecraft server. The port number I need is 25565, but I've already enabled "virtual server" on the router. Despite following some online guides, it still doesn't work. My TP-Link Archer C60 has the new light blue interface, and I'm using Wi-Fi instead of an Ethernet cable.
You might be hidden behind two NATs. Do you have a modem supplied by your ISP that the TP-Link connects to? If yes, you should:
- Change the port on the modem and assign it the internal IP given to the TP-Link.
- Switch the TP-Link into bridge mode.
This will remove most of the admin controls in the interface, letting the modem handle them instead.
If you also receive TV service from your ISP and your internet uses MoCA (COAX), you could lose access to your set-top box’s guide. Each step to fix this can differ a lot.
