Playing certain video games frequently causes my computer to perform sluggishly, producing a buzzing and unresponsive sensation. This issue can be detected both within the game itself and when I attempted to view a YouTube video on a secondary display.

I have closed all running programs without success. Updating my graphics card did not resolve the problem, nor did updating my sound card. Notably, specific games—including Payday 2, Killing Floor 2, Tower Unite, and several Source titles—experience issues, failing to launch properly.

Keep an eye on your temperatures while gaming; if performance lags when there are sounds, it might indicate a heat issue.
