The issue might be related to the CPU not being properly seated or connected. Check if the socket is secure and if the CPU is correctly installed.

Computers require a CPU to start functioning. The motherboard could initiate the PSU, but no real processing occurs. Should you have meant GPU?

The fans and the lights activate without needing a CPU in the socket, but they stop working once the device is installed.

Which processor and motherboard are being used? Has this PC previously run with the same CPU model?

I own a Ryzen 7 2700, an MSI B450 Tomahawk, and an RX 580 with Aroma and 16 GB DDR4 ECC RAM at 2400 MHz.

Trying to figure this out with some ambiguity. Probably the PSU, MOBO, or CPU is the problem. Because it's a power-on issue, I'll start with the PSU and try another one. If nothing changes, switch to a different CPU. If that doesn't help, I might have to remove the motherboard from the case since that's the last option. GL
