Hey everyone! I'm just starting out and really need some guidance right now. After moving parts into the new NZXT H510 Elite case, my PC won't boot. It powers on, fans spin, but no image appears. I've re-seated everything multiple times, unplugged it in minimal settings, yet the problem continues. This reminds me of a past issue I had when switching from a stock cooler to an AIO water system—I reset the PC a few times by cutting power and fixed it. I've heard updating the BIOS might help with Ryzen 5 models, but if everything is identical, that might not be the case. Also, while swapping components, one screw got stuck in the case and I think that could have contributed. My setup includes: B450 Plus motherboard, Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, RTX 2060 from Gigabyte, DeepCool L240 v2 water cooler.

Do you have images of the harm caused to the motherboard? A broken trace from pulling out the jammed screw could be the problem.

The harm occurs solely near this opening where the screw must be inserted.

Use various PCI slots with your GPU. (Ensure monitor is configured for HDMI, DP, etc.). Verify all cables—24-pin, CPU power, PCI power—and confirm wires are properly seated in the plastic connector. Reset BIOS. Disconnect all USB devices, power on PC, press power button, wait for PC to shut down, then hold it for 20 seconds before reseating the CPU.

Thank you for your response. I also attempted to restate the CPU issue. It's unusual that the power button works, the ringing is visible, yet I can't turn off the PC by pressing it repeatedly. The only solution seems to be unplugging it from power. I've inspected the power connector and found it intact. I'm uncertain but it might help testing other parts, especially the motherboard and CPU.

It's a shame but great news for me. Turns out I left the ATX cable unplugged... Everything is fixed now.
