The PC will start only after removing the CPU power cable.
Hello. Similar to the title, I've been operating this PC with a 7600X CPU for three months now. It suddenly shut down during a game. It doesn't react when I try to press the power button, unless I disconnect the CPU power cable. When I do that, the fans spin but the CPU remains cool. After removing the CPU and re-setting it, unplugging each component one by one, I managed to get it back on. This is exactly the situation I described in the title. It's not my first time seeking assistance, so please avoid suggesting I check the cables... I've already done that four times. I also swapped out the CPU power cable and used a socket with correct labeling on the PSU. Sorry if it sounded harsh, but I'm just exhausted and frustrated now. Other important parts include the RX6800XT, Asrock B650M, PG from Riptide, Kingston Fury 16GB, and 6000 MT/s. I have no idea whether fixing this myself would work or if I should return it for repair. I suspect the CPU is at fault, but I don't want to wait for a new one to discover the motherboard is overheating. I'll update later when it functions again. Hopefully soon... Removing the CPU causes the whole system to shut down completely, yet the motherboard remains functional—this suggests a power or communication issue. If the motherboard is defective, fans should still spin and GPU lights should stay on because the hardware is still receiving power internally. This points to a potential internal component failure rather than a simple power loss.
Additionally, it could be noted that since acquiring this PC, boot times have been slow (uncertain if the system attempted to refresh memory each time). The error lights on the motherboard indicated a possible CPU issue. However, it did manage to start, leading me to believe it was an "early adopter problem" and a "new AMD platform challenge."
I set it up prior to the newest version. Better, though only marginally.
